International floral designer and Smithers -Oasis Preferred Designer Richard Go, AIFD, conducted the Kaleidoscope of Colors Floral Arranging Seminar-Workshop organized by Jasam Floral Sundries under the sponsorship of Smithers-Oasis Malaysia. The event was initially held in the Legend Villas in Mandaluyong City, Metropolitan Manila and again conducted in Metro Cebu.

Richard discussed the benefits and practical uses of colored foam - expounding on its cost cutting and effectiveness in floral designing. As a floral designer/arranger in a country (Australia) that charges labor by the hour, Richard explained that easy designs bring in profits for they require less time to execute. Easy however for Richard, does not mean simple as his floral arrangements never fail to draw much appreciation. Richard also discussed wrapping techniques and the various uses of cable ties.

Being a stickler for time, Richard was able to show the audience how to make six big arrangements from scratch in an hour. He also gamely shared fresh insights on the emerging trends in floral designs.
